Trees in Winter – Charlton Musgrove

The village of Charlton Musgrove outside Wincanton has a handsome newly rebuilt village hall. There I attend a weekly life drawing and painting group.  Looking out of the window however we cannot help noticing the huge old oak that stands glowering at us in the middle of the open field. It and the other trees that grow along the edge of the field are fascinating. Here you have eight images treated in different ways to bring out their mysterious mythical power.
